Kips Bay Decorator Show House, 2009

The Kips Bay Decorator Show House, 22 E. 71st St., Manhattan, opens for visitors at 11 a.m. Friday. The annual event which showcases interior design and designers and architects, will continue through May 17. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, extended hours Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8 p.m.; noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $30, including the Journal and Source Book. The Kips Bay Decorator Show House opens Friday showcasing decorators, including two from Long Island -- Huntington-based Eileen Kathryn Boyd and Fire Island resident Gail Shields-Miller.
