How We Work
A project begins with
an initial free consultation by phone or email. We are pleased to discuss the nature and scope
of your project to help you evaluate your decorative
painting needs. If available, we request
architectural drawings and elevations in order to provide an accurate estimate.
An appointment may be
made to meet onsite. At meetings we provide our portfolio
for your review and existing samples which
may be of interest or relevance to your project.
Because every project is unique, we create decorative painting samples specifically for you. This
occurs following initial evaluation, meeting,
and/or receipt of commission. At this stage, we
work with examples from your
décor such as fabrics and carpeting, and other references
which you provide. Depending on the nature of the project, samples may include painting on canvas
or board, sketches, digital renderings, and in some cases, the actual material
on which the design will be executed, such as
floorboards for a painted
floor.
For commissions, we require a 50% deposit and a signed written estimate.
Upon receipt, we schedule your project
for production.
