Created for an exhibition entitled "Global" in which twenty artists were each invited by curator Richard Klein to alter a globe. In this work, animations of Northern and Southern hemispheres are projected onto a suspended white globe. Rotating continents with demarcated nations, names, and measurements shift in color, then slowly transform into abstract land masses that dissolve into fractal patterns. This piece began with the idea of our conscious lives on earth as a jewel of constructed reality.
